I was just reminded of a tecnique from watching a Walleye DVD and was wondering if anyone has tried this latley? We used this technique in the mid 90's and had incredible success, but I forgot about it until watching the walleye DVD.

Used a 3 way swivel.

Swivel one was connected to the main trolling line with a 1.5 or 2 oz weight

Swivel two has a 3-4' leader connected with a spoon

Swivel three has a 6-7' leader connected with a deep diving crank bait (the longer leader used the diver because it dove deaper than the lighter spoon keeping it untangled.

I've used 3 way rigs but I usually don't use any weight if I do I will use a snap weight 30 back from the lures. I like to use scorpion size spoons michigan or other and a reef runner diver or husky jerk, I like to run 3 ways during cold front conditions or during a tough bite in general.
