I cut the bottom out of a foam beer can insulator and fit over a plastic Jiffy Peanut Butter jar, or two over a tall water bottle. Cut a shallow groove with a razor to anchor the line end, wrap about 5 times around, and sink the hooks in. The jar holds my in-line weights.

Where can I get those clear tubes with the red caps? I use 1" diameter pipe insulation.

Then I use "T" style sewing needles hold the harness on the tube.

Lowe,

I picked those up on Ebay. The ones that I have are 7/8 inch and should fit most willows.

Here you go.

for those of us who want to use noodles - what type of pin or device do you use to keep the swivel end of the harness in the noodle?

Lightman, slice the noodle about 1/2 inch deep along the length of it and stop short of each end about 3/4 inch, then you can put the loop end/swivel end of the harness into the slice and wrap the rest around the noodle and stick the hook in to hold the other end.
I ordered the plastic thingys from Don at Ole Petes. They are the same as the ones they sell their harnesses on. They aren't on the website, but you can email him if you want them, as they just got them back in stock. He even ships a plastic bag for each ne with the thingy.
