I hate my storage for harnesses. Noodles are not working for me. Anyone try these?

I bought some of these a few weeks back and in my opinion they are best suited for storing your leaders in. It seem that with the two hooks on the harness and a blade or two they will only make a mess. It looks like a great idea online so that is why gave it a try. Somebody else may have had luck with it, not me. Just my opinion. Jason

Garbage!!!!! Just wondering what the problem with the pool noodle is? Amish outfitters sells some that have canvas covers over them to prevent you from getting stuck from the hooks. Also keeps your harnesses nice and neat. Noodles are hands down the way to go! http://www.amishoutfitters.com/noodlewrap.htm check em out!

Ole Pete's has a holder similar to the one Cabelas has. If you go to the Vermilion Flea Market on March 29th he will have them there. I only use them with my short wire trolling harnesses. If you buy one of his harnesses you get one with it. I use the noodles for my longer harnesses made with mono or FloroCarbon. Stick the hook in the noodle and use a Plant pin to hold the end of the leader. Get them at the craft stores. They are used to make flower arrangements.

I've been using the plano box with the plastic tubes inside of it. Ole Pete's sells them.

Don't they get all tangled up inside of the tube. Just seems like the noodles keep them a lot neater and not tangles. One man's opinion and u know what they say about those. LOL.

I've never had a tangle problem with them. Pop the cap off, dump it into the palm of your hand, and it's ready to go.
Each box holds 32 harnesses.

Hetfield I was looking at those at the last show. I was actually thinking those would be coole for cranks. Would a 700 or 800 reef runner fit in those tubes?

This is what I used last year for the harnesses. It worked, but only the willows will fit in them.

Harle-these tubes are not long enough for cranks, not the RRs, anyway. Don also sells another kit that is designed for cranks.
