Well first off thanks for every one who entered in the tournament today it was once again a great time. The ride out this morning was a little bumpy but after a few hours the lake died down for a much better time.Every one caught fish but most of us worked for them and we all had our share of the mid size fish and yes those farm animals were out strong today.Boats ran all kinds of programs today in different depths,dipyies-jets-keel weights-in line boards-spoons-worm harnesses and spoons.Seems like every thing produced fish and no color really stood out.Harle's team could of came in 2nd place but for those guys, well shoot man they just ran out of gas 1/4 from the break wall and missed the weigh in time but thanks to Rocky for towing them, get that fuel gage working Dave. Here's some pictures of the weigh in I took and once again I had a great time and thanks for coming.

Leader board

1st place and big eye winners-Team Bigkev

2nd place-Team 2Buzz

Team JerryT caught the BIGGEST SHEZ EATER TODAY,OUCH

Congrats to Kevin and Tubuzz for the fine finish and making it to the weigh in :).... I've been beatin myself up all evening. I let my teamates down and put poor Rocky between a rock and a hard place.

It was a great day on the Lake as always, running out of gas sucked big-time. My Teamates call me psycho Dave when it gets close to the end of any tournament. The biggest fear came to life today. Missing a weigh in with a decent bag. I always allow plenty of time to get back and often find myself at the dock with 30-40 minutes to go and a 10 minute ride on Liberty Ave. I made a rookie mistake and thought I could make 1 more trip without filling up. Sorry guys... Spoonjunky cracked a funny and said today the gas gauge worked for the first time in 3 years. It said empty and it was. lmao.

For the report.
We started at Cranberry in 28-30 fow and bagged 2 quick. 1 decent fish, 1- 16 incher. Harnesses/dipsy's and 1 on a crank. We were targeting 20 fow, speed was 1.7. We screwed around until 11:30 with 4 then moved to the Sand Bar. 32.5/16.5 and picked 5 more all upgrades, between noon and 2:00. We were in 48 fow and targeted around 45 fow. They were huggin the bottom. #1 Dipsy's/harnesses 3 setting 120 back was the best, 40 jets/harnesses 150 back picked a few. Green/black combo and pink panties took all 5. Speed was 2.0.

BTW my boat took 103 gallons. I think I'm good for a few trips.

Sorry I missed you all.......

Rocky,
You are the man. That was the most unselfish thing anyone has ever done for me. Thank you!! Your a good friend!!

congrads to BK and Tubuzz for their 1st and 2nd place finish. the day startd off fast and furious for us while dealing with the waves and as the day went on the lake calmed down and so did the hungry fish. we fished off the castle hoping for at least one big fish but all we could find to bite were 16-20" eyes. thanks Mark and BK for organizing again. cant wait till next time.

Dummy me,I stuck my hand in the net to grab an eye and it jumped and when it came down it hooked me like I hooked it LOL.Me and Jerry were kind a laughing because I didn't want to push it threw and cut the hook,it was a hot lure for us LOL.I cut the opening bigger with my pocket knife and then rotated it 360 to twist the barb and then pulled real hard and it came out thank God but man let me tell you I think I peed my pants.I will never do that again,I usually use a fish grabber but as you can see not today.

Congrats BK & Tubuzz. Nice sized fish BK !!

Mark, did those pink panties stay hot with the fresh blood scent? Good you got it out Mr. Surgeon !

Tough break Harley. Don't beat yourself up too bad man - **it happens.

Way to be there for a friend Rocky.

When the tourney was re-scheduled for Sunday, I tried to put together a last minute team with no luck.

Congrats to All.

Congrats BigKev and Tubuzz…

It sounds like my teammate and I missed a very memorable day for some people. We had such a great time competing in the last tournament and was very disappointed on Saturday when the Fish-Gods shutdown the lake for the day. Can’t wait for the next time and we’re glad everyone (Team Harley) made it back safe.

Note to self… Keep Rocky on the X-mas Card List.

It was a very fun day on the lake with lots of action for us. We boated 18 fish, threw 3 back and lost a few as well. All on worm harnesses behind keels and bottom bouncers. No particular color was hot. Caught fish on anti-freeze blade, double dutch, cj special(took big fish), some of dj's custom blades did well also. We fished 18-26 fow with 20 fow being the best. Just wanted to tell Rocky that he should get a special award for this tourney. He sacraficed a lot to help a friend and that is what this club is all about. Harle bet you wish you wouldn't have gone out quite as far huh bud? TuBuzz you better thank both of these guys man. They kept you in the race for AOTY man. Congrats to all. We were lucky enough to find a couple big ones today. DJ and Wayne really did a great job. Here's a couple of pics that I took. Enjoy!

Hey I stayed around to thank them. I just left early, because I did not want Rocky to beat me up.
Good job again Big Kev.
