Thought this may be fun with an oppurtunity to learn some of the necessary and not so necessary rules of the water.

Let's try this one at a time....Think it could last until April??

Do not eat Chipotle the evening before an outing

Looking forward to some others.

For the guys who trailer....DO PUT THE PLUG IN!!!! A fool at the Ver ramp last spring really had an embarassing moment! Ok, I'm sure it has happened to most of us. An easy thing to forget on your first outing of the year.

Harle...DON'T park your boat 20 rows deep in storage and expect to fish before May(good luck on that one)lol

When in your rear view mirror you see your trailer and boat BOTH floating at the ramp behind your truck, someone "probably" forgot to take off the tie-down straps.

Ouch St.Croix and double ouch Oh Yeah.

How about...

A spill proof coffe cup. I rarely had a coffee to drink after the first hole shot. Poor Spoonjunky and his coffee stained walleye gear.

LOL Rocky, I rmember that day well.

Do not get too excited when a pull back occurs and lift the rod and the triple gimble mount out of the rod holder in 45 feet of water. (32.345/18.564).

If anyone snags into it I'd appreciate the return....If not I have the matching port site for sale.

Do bring 2 of each lure that you take on someone elses boat. Just in case the one you have catches the fish and he doesn't have one like it. Right? Oh Yeah

Do not rely on a friend to send tournament registration money in on time.

Do not rely on NOAA forecasts.

Do not hold your breath waiting for a new State ramp in Huron.

DO be-like-bob and simply smile, when your holding the only lure in the boat that is HOT. and DO load ALLLL your tackle for EVERY trip - ya never know when you'll wish you had : )

Do not forget, NCA r-o-c-k-s.

While dropping the throttle in ruff water do not take your hands off the steering wheel to zip up your rain gear. Tends to get the co-angler a little jumpy.

Do not tell your co-angler at the beginning of a tournament how it would suck if a team came in with no fish.

Let your co-angler know while looking for gear in the front of the boat that a 6 footer is about to break over the bow.

Do not attempt to put on an inline board over the side of the boat at night unless it has a light on it. (was on a boat where this happened) U know who u are, LOL!
